The Erris branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association would like to thank everyone who supported its recent barbecue which was held in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel.

Upcoming events include Music in the Community with John Hoban. This is a free social evening where you can express a love of music and song. It will commence on September 5 from 8pm to 9.30pm and will be ongoing for six consecutive weeks. To secure a place call Gemma on 094 938 4809.

Cycle for Enable Ireland

Mark Bradley and Martin Breen have started their 16 day cycle challenge from Portlaoise in order to raise much needed funds for Enable Ireland. The men will travel through Westport on August 25 and Ballina on August 26.
