Following the success of their winter concert last January, St Muredach’s Cathedral choir are back with another evening of much loved classics on Saturday November 28 at 8pm in the Twin Trees Hotel. The programme again is an exciting mix of popular classical music, Italian opera, light jazz, Irish melodies, and favourite sacred classics, with a flavour of Christmas thrown in.
The choir’s superb vocal and instrumental soloists will also feature throughout the concert. The cathedral choir welcome their guest performers this year, St Mary’s Secondary School choir. The school choir qualified for the regional final of the RTE Schools Choir Competition last year and were prize winners at the Kiltimagh Choral Festival. A wonderful night’s entertainment is guaranteed. Director is Regina Deacy, accompanist is David Caulfield.
