Dublin date for Mayo band

Everyday Solution are five Mayo boys, one of whom has just finished his Leaving Cert. The five formed a band while at secondary school in Swinford. The band has gigged across the west of Ireland, headlining Enniscrone Festival this year, and the fast-rising Mayo band are playing the Grand Social in Dublin tomorrow, November 14, and have been a runaway success this year.

They are also reviving in Dublin the Saturday afternoon gigs that were once a feature of venues like McGonagles, the Underground and the Rock Garden, introducing young people to the excitement of live music again. The tickets sales follow the huge success EDS enjoyed in Vicar Street playing to 1,500 in August.

The remaining tickets for the 2pm afternoon show tomorrow, which will be open to all ages, are on sale via Ticketmaster for €12.  The Grand Social is one of Dublin’s most popular and fashionable music venues, located in the city centre right at the distinctive Ha’penny Bridge on Liffey Street. EDS are currently in studio recording songs for an EP and will release their first single in the coming weeks.
