Drama backstage at the Snug Bar

Athlone playwright, Margaret McKenna Mullan, has written and produced seven plays which she has staged at different venues throughout the country.

This summer she will be staging some of those plays in a new and exciting Athlone location, the Snug Bar, which is under the ownership of her daughter Gillian and son-in-law, Michael Nugent.

The performances by the No Fixed Abode Group will take place in a room at the back of the Snug Bar. Featuring Ann Hoey, Paddy Broder, Seamus McKenna, Paul Slevin, John McGlynn and Margaret Mc Kenna Mullan, the first play, 'Catch Me if You Can', will play at the atmospheric venue on Tuesday, July 2 and Wednesday, July 3, starting at 8pm.

Tickets are 10 euro each and can be purchased daily at the Snug Bar from 5pm. All plays will be advertised in advanced.

Come along to The Snug and enjoy a good laugh and a great night out.
