Creating hope through action was the theme of this year’s World Suicide Prevention Day. ‘Know where to turn’ is one of the key messages as part of this event promoting ways in which to help to create hope in communities.

The Covid-19 situation can be challenging for many reasons, with some people finding it more worrying than others. It is also important to remember that everyone needs help from time to time and there is nothing wrong with asking for it. Reach out – people do care. If you are looking for support, there are many organisations and groups available to help. Don’t be afraid to find out what they do and see if they suit your own individual needs. Remember we all need different supports at different times in our lives.
