Moate TidyTowns committee member, Jimmy Redmond, was highly commended as a ‘Community Hero’ during the national finals of the SuperValu TidyTowns Awards which took place recently in The Helix venue in Dublin.

SuperValu impressed at the 2018 Great Taste Awards with 79 category wins making them the top performing Irish supermarket at the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink event.

The third annual SuperValu Home Truths Report shows increases in the number of people cooking from scratch, with Sunday roasts still high on the weekly menu and an integral part of family get-togethers.

The 2016 SuperValu Tidy Towns competition was officially launched on Tuesday, April 5, by Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Alan Kelly, and Des O’Mahony, SuperValu marketing manager.
