ICPPD is offering a one year professional diploma in expressive arts, described as ‘unique and pioneering in Ireland’. This programme delivered over 10 days is for professionals, or others interested in using creative processes to support expression with clients they are working with.

A stepping stone to a career in counselling and psychotherapy at ICPPD

This 60-hour certificate course is an introduction to holistic counselling and psychotherapy and is a foundation-level counselling and psychotherapy course with a difference. The course is highly interactive and combines personal development, counselling skills, and an introduction to some of the main theoretical approaches in counselling, and concludes with a mindfulness workshop. This course is delivered in ICPPD Athlone and in Galway, on Tuesday/Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 10pm, commencing end of October.

QQI degree in holistic counselling and psychotherapy at ICPPD Athlone and Galway

ICPPD, The International College for Personal and Professional Development, was registered as a business, offering training and education in counselling and psychotherapy and complementary short courses and workshops, in 2009. It opened its doors in July 2009 and began advertising its courses. Academic validation and professional accreditation are paramount to an educational institute, but there is a process that applies. This process requires human resources and financial backing. ICPPD had neither.
