Septic tank protesters take their fight to the Dáil gates

A large group of Connemara protesters took their grievances regarding the introduction of septic tank charges and inspections straight to the gates of the Leinster House yesterday.

Atkins working on two Galway treatment plants

Atkins Ireland, one of the world's leading providers of professional consulting and construction support services, is working with Galway County Council to procure contracts to design and construct two new wastewater treatment plants in Galway. Construction on the plants in Letterfrack and Clonbur has just started and they are expected to be completed by May 2009.
