A Claremorris woman who forgot to pay her insurance escaped a driving ban at Claremorris District Court this week. Mary Wolley, Castlemcgarrett, Claremorris pleaded guilty in court to the charges of having no insurance, and failure to produce insurance and her driving licence. The court was told by Garda Catherine Hoban that she spoke to Wolley at the scene of an accident on the Cloonfad Road, Claremorris on February 28 2009 and demanded the production of her driving licence and insurance within 10 days, which she failed to do.
