Garden guru to visit Connacht Gold, Westport
Klaus Laitenberger will visit Connacht Gold DIY and Garden Centre on April 16 between 2pm and 4pm to discuss organic vegetable production with all those interested in this growing field. Mr Laitenberger has spent many years learning the craft of vegetable growing, experimenting with different plants and techniques, and passing on his knowledge to countless students of all ages. The last 10 years have been spent in Ireland, so he has managed the vagaries of boggy soils, high rainfall, the most common pests and diseases, and has distilled what he has learnt into his discussions and lectures.
