Here’s what’s happening during the next week: a youth underage disco in the Bangor Sports Complex tonight (Friday); the annual Tony & Daniel O’Donnell memorial mountain climb and Mass at the top of Cnoc na Scallop, Barnatra, at 2pm on Sunday August 3 (with a barbecue and music in McGuire’s pub afterwards); and a sponsored pony ride from Bangor to Belmullet on Friday August 8. As part of the Queen of the Lakes festival the Ballinrobe No Name Club is holding a mid summer disco in the Valkenburg on July 22.
