Here’s what’s happening during the next week: a youth underage disco in the Bangor Sports Complex tonight (Friday ); the annual Tony & Daniel O’Donnell memorial mountain climb and Mass at the top of Cnoc na Scallop, Barnatra, at 2pm on Sunday August 3 (with a barbecue and music in McGuire’s pub afterwards ); and a sponsored pony ride from Bangor to Belmullet on Friday August 8. And don’t forget to buy a ticket for the Marie Carolan Fund Dance at the Broadhaven Bay Hotel on August 17.

The family of Marie family wish to send their thanks to everyone for their donations, good wishes, and prayers. Marie underwent surgery on July 14 and is doing well and it is hoped that Marie will be back home in Erris soon after her second surgery to remove the remaining tumour. Míle buíochas!
