Culture Night is Ireland’s national celebration of culture, creativity and the arts. It takes place all over Galway city and county on Friday 21st September and sparkles well into the night. From Bofin to the Bridge of Banagher, from Bearna to Ballybane and beyond, dozens of entrancing, beguiling and enjoyable events are talking place in a truly brilliant programme that showcases the creative communities and landscapes of Galway, European Capital of Culture. GALWAY'S 'WRITE On' Westside Writers Group will host an evening of literary entertainment in the Westside Library this month, with members reading extracts from their short stories, poems, flash fiction, and memoirs.
