Town Hall Theatre Galway is marking a major milestone in 2026 as it celebrates the 30th anniversary of its official opening with what is being described as its busiest Spring/Summer season to date. The much-loved cultural venue has unveiled an ambitious and wide-ranging programme that brings together theatre, music, comedy, dance, film, and special events in a vibrant showcase designed to appeal to audiences of all ages and interests.

The Town Hall Theatre revealed its headline acts for Galway’s busy spring and summer season this week.

VLADIMIR JABLOKOV’S 2020 captures many of the ups and downs, the obvious lows, and unexpected highs of this strange year, but above all, it encapsulates the sheer resilience of the arts in the face of the pandemic and lockdown.

VLADIMIR AND Anton, the Slovakian violinist brothers described as “the Nigel Kennedy’s of their nation”, by the London Evening Standard, will give a concert in Galway at the end of this month.

MUSIC BY Russian composers, and music associated with that country will be performed by the much admired Jablokov brothers at a concert in An Taibhdhearc this Saturday at 8pm.
