THE TOWN Hall Theatre will come alive with The Sound Of Music when Sean and Brian Powers’ Twin Productions bring the much-loved musical to the venue for a five night run from August 14 to 18.

Phantom and the Musicals is a tribute to some of music’s legendary performers, as the group will sing the very best musical numbers from the West End and Broadway. In a nutshell, this is a lively, dynamic, colourful and nostalgic trip down memory lane where some of the best songs from a range of well-known musicals are brought to life.

As part of the renowned Tuam Arts Festival, the town’s St Mary’s Cathedral will play host to a concert entitled ‘Some Enchanted Evening’ on Saturday August 19. Starting at 8pm, the performance will comprise opera arias, French songs, and a compilation of songs from movies and musicals. ‘Some Enchanted Evening’ will host an array of talented performers at the pinnacle of their art, including a native of the town as the star tenor.

GALWAY’S WEST-End star Aoife Mulholland has released her new album Live From Galway, which was recorded during her sell-out concerts in the Town Hall Theatre last July.
