Aware’s Mayo support group for individuals with experience of depression meets every Tuesday at 8.30pm in the St Vincent de Paul Centre, Auray Place (bottom of Newport Road), Castlebar. A group for relatives meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 8.30pm in the same location.

Aware depression support groups meet every week in three areas in the county — Ballina, Ballinrobe, and Castlebar. The support groups offer a safe and confidential environment for those who experience depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety to come together to share coping skills and provide support and encouragement to one another. The support groups are free and confidential.
