A Salthill born master guitarist, lecturer, and writer who lives in the United States will launch his memoir, which details his lifelong battle with depression, anxiety, and alcoholism, today (Thursday) at 6pm at Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop in Middle Street.

HE TOOK up guitar as a teenager in the Galway of the 1960s, played in a band that supported Thin Lizzy, and more recently has enjoyed a solo career that has seen him tour across the USA.
