Monroe’s Live will host a weekend of music from tomorrow, Friday, May 16, to Sunday, May 18, with performances from Irish and international artists rooted in folk, traditional, and contemporary styles.

The Ampouailh quintet features Simon Lotout (bombardes) Yuna Léon (violins), Rémi Bouguennec (flute), Heikki Bourgault (guitar), and Gwylan Meneghin on bass. They will play with the famed singer, composer, and flautist Charlie Le Brun.

Leading Breton folk and traditional musicians Ampouailh,, will play Monroe’s Live on Friday, May 16, as part of the Galway-Lorient twinning 50th anniversary celebrations.
