Timmy Glavey (Mayo AC) leads the mens’ league after three quality runs with 64 points closely followed by club mate Robert Malseed on 62pts having also run three races. While well positioned in joint third on 49pts having run two races each are Roger Barrett (Ballina AC) and Matt Bidwell (Galway City Harriers).

Con Doherty from Westport put older and far more experienced athletes to the sword at the Harlequin Duathlon. Sixteen-year-old Con showed his running prowess when he obliterated the field with a blistering run up to the Booster station at Glenisland some 1,450 feet above sea level.
