The Clifden Arts Festival is proud to present a major highlight of this year’s Visual Arts Programme: an exhibition of handmade fine art prints from the renowned Dublin-based studio Stoney Road Press. Running from September 16 to 27, the Stoney Road Press exhibition will take place in the Station House Museum, Clifden.

The annual 5k race at Cloonacool marks an early Spring outing for many athletes and has been a popular event also for Mayo runners since it’s inception in 2010. It is a fundraiser for the local GAA club and was well organised by a team led by Bill Carty (Sligo AC).

The first two races in the Mayo AC Vodafone C&C Cellular 5km Summer Series took place over the past few days with races in Foxford and Ballyhaunis. In the first race in the series in Foxford there were 160 competitors taking part. 

Autumn temperatures soared on a sunny sporting Sunday at the fifth Breaffy 10k. It was also the final race in Mayo AC Vodafone 2015 Move2Improve series. The conditions were welcome but made extra demands on endurance and energy over the testing undulating terrain.
