The Gunners enterprising Ladies team recently brought their unbeaten record to a staggering 100 league games in five years when cruising past Leeds Carnegie by 4-0. That contest also included a delightful goal from Fahey, who is briskly becoming a favourite with the north London club.

•Galway Bay Sailing club will run a series of talks over the next three weeks in the clubhouse in Renville, Oranmore. Dr Kieran Hickey, from the Department of Geography in NUI Galway, an expert on climate change, will focus his talk on global warming and in particular changing wind patterns.
