Join storyteller Gearóidín Breathnach and students from Coláiste Pobail Acla for a performance of local stories from Achill Island including ‘Préachán Acla’ and ‘An Mhaighdean Mhara’. The Luisne Art Project is showing its exhibition Insight at The National Museum of Country Life. This exhibition of art has come from its previous showing in Galway University Hospital and will be housed at the museum café until June 2011. Insight includes a special installation of four stained glass light boxes which were created by the group.

The National Museum of Ireland – Country Life, Turlough has announced that the museum’s café and shop will now be open seven days a week.
