Castlegannon Show returns for fun and games
Next Sunday sees the annual Castlegannon Show taking place at Knockmoylan, half way between Ballyhale and Mullinavat. As in previous years, this great family day out is being held for the benefit of the Carlow Kilkenny Homecare Team, for whom the show has raised over €10,000 in the last two years alone.

The Friends of Fr Kevin Doheny, in conjunction with Vita, recently held a sponsored walk to raise funds and awareness for their twinning projects with Chencha, in Arba Minch, Ethiopia. The walk was from different points, namely Ballyouskill, Ballyragget, Castlecomer and Ballinakill.
