Sprit of Entrepreneurship event coming up

The Annual Spirit of Entrepreneurship event is just under three weeks away, taking place on Monday, September 15 in St Mary's Hall, GMIT, Mayo Campus at 6.30pm. Mayo Ideas Week 2012 was officially launched by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, at Mount Falcon Hotel, Ballina, on Monday September 3. Mayo Ideas Week is a series of idea generation, entrepreneurship, and business events hosted by the development and enterprise support agencies in Mayo. Admission is free to the 13 events which will be held all over the county from Monday September 17 to Friday September 21.

Mayo County Council, the Department of Community and Integrated Development and WESTBIC, the Irish partners in the CISNET project are offering an unmissable opportunity for interested craft businesses and artists to attend a free event which is designed to give practical information and inputs for the craft sector locally and regionally. These include marketing, exploring new markets and e-commerce along with information and networking opportunities. This event will take place in Ballina Arts Centre on Tuesday, June 12.
