After more than a decade of fundraising in aid of cancer care in Mayo, the hugely successful Bright Eyes campaign has been brought to a close.

Mayo General Hospital has announced that the keys to the new permanently based MRI scanner were handed over to Mayo General Hospital by representatives of the fundraising groups at a ceremony at the hospital recently. The funding for the MRI scanner had been raised by a number of established cancer charities and the core groups involved were Cancer Action Mhaigh-Eo and the Bright Eyes Campaign.
