A public consultation is to take place as part of a heritage audit of the northern stretch of the River Nore from Ballynaslee on the Laois border to the Ossory Bridge in Kilkenny city.

A project to find out more about the heritage of the Northern stretch of the River Nore (from Ballynaslee on the Laois border to the Ossory Bridge in Kilkenny city) is being undertaken on behalf of Kilkenny County Council, in partnership with the Kilkenny Heritage Forum and the Heritage Council, by archaeological consultants Kilkenny Archaeology.
