Athletes are set for the national finals
Following another successful weekend at the Leinster indoor track and field championships in Nenagh many of the young athletes will undertake more intensive training in preparation for national finals. These finals are spread over four days: Two in Nenagh on March 28 and 29 and the final two in Magherafelt, Co Derry, on April 4 and 5. Thankfully, after a nine months closure, the athletic track has re-opened. This should lead to an improvement in speeds and allow for much needed development of technical skills.
