Three Kilkenny craft makers are among those hand-picked by the Crafts Council of Ireland, to feature in its recently launched “Celebrating Ireland’s Designer Makers” campaign for the month of September.

An exhibition celebrating Irish women working in the medium of hot glass has opened at the Glass Attic Gallery, Jerpoint Glass Studio in County Kilkenny.

Taking inspiration from the beautiful colours of the southeast of Ireland Jerpoint Glass, an award winning glassblowing studio, and the south-east Irish Patchwork Societies will present a unique exhibition celebrating craftsmanship entitled “Reflections of the Southeast”.
