A 42-year-old Galway man accused of dealing drugs valued at more than €13,000 and illegally growing cannabis plants has been sent forward for trial.
Carlow athletes perform well at the Leinster cross-country championships
Laura Scriven and Catherine Rudenko (both from St Laurence O'Toole AC) competed with distinction at the Leinster cross-country championships held in the picturesque grounds of Avondale house, Rathdrum, Wicklow on Sunday last. Laura finished in 4th place in the ladies novice race while Catherine was 12th. These girls were strongly supported by team-mates Pamela Donoghue, Kathleen Kinsella & Maria O'Rourke in the ladies race.
