Flashing lights for schools

Children going to school in north Galway will be able to do so in greater safety with flashing lights to be erected at four schools in the region.

Minister for Labour Affairs, Dara Calleary has welcomed the provision of flashing lights at Behymore National School on the outskirts of Ballina. The road safety measures were recently installed on the main thoroughfares to the school providing much needed traffic calming in the vicinity of the school.
