Women from Kilkenny’s 5 to 6 Project continue to work together and exhibit the fruits of their labour in their current exhibition at the Watergate Theatre. In the theme of Kilkenny 400 the 5 to 6 Project’s exhibition celebrates the history and spirit of Kilkenny women through the ages. Overarching themes in the lives of Kilkenny women are represented in the exhibition through a range of media including drawing, photography, craft, painting, and sculpture.
5 to 6 Project present Lifecycles- an exciting and diverse exhibition
Lifecycles presents an exciting and diverse array of work by women currently involved in the 5 to 6 Project. Displayed in the 5 to 6 House, the exhibition reveals themes that run throughout the women’s work, in particular stages of life and their relationship to the natural world. Patterns of this can be observed throughout the exhibition.
