Cortoon-Shamrocks and Mountbellew replay this Sunday

image preview

Following the exciting 1-11 to 2-8 drawn game last weekend in the county football championship between Cortoon-Shamrocks and Mountbellew/Moylough, the county board will be hoping for a big crowd at the replay which takes place this Sunday in Tuam Stadium (4.15pm).

Some mystifying decisions

Last Sunday Frank Kinneen became the first referee in Galway football in 37 years (since Tom Boyle, Ballinasloe, in 1972 and 1973) to referee the county senior final in consecutive years.
