Legends of the Irish music scene, on a national and international standing, The Fureys, renowned for their hit songs ‘I Will Love You’, ‘When You Were Sweet 16’, ‘The Green Fields of France’, ‘The Old Man’, ‘Red Rose Café’, ‘From Clare to Here’, ‘Leaving Nancy’ and‘Steal Away' will perform their live repertoire in the surrounds of the Radisson Blu Athlone Hotel on Friday, December 27.

The Sunday Independent’s Rock Against Homelessness concert in aid of Focus Ireland - now in its fifth year - is heading West. Earlier this year, the show sold-out the Olympia Theatre and saw performances from Camille O'Sullivan, Tommy Fleming, Aidan Gillen, Deirdre O'Kane, Finbar Furey, The Celtic Tenors and Laura Whitmore among others, helping to raise a record total of over €25,000.
