Mindfulness is a practice that can teach us how to enjoy life to the full and how to relax even when there is a lot of pressure in our life. It teaches us how to make the most of every day and find contentment even in the routine of each day. This eight week course runs on Tuesday evenings starting on February 10. You can choose to attend a course from either 6pm to 8pm or from 8.30pm to 10.30pm. The course is being held in the Family Centre, Chapel Street, Castlebar, and is led by Derval Dunford and Ann Caulfield. A support group for adults affected by the death of a loved one through suicide has commenced in the Family Centre, Chapel Street, Castlebar. The course will run over six weeks on Tuesday evenings at 8pm. It will be facilitated by two Family Centre counsellors who will provide a safe confidential space for those attending.
