A journey to the ‘Big Apple’ was most certainly an occasion to remember for Moate Community School students, Meabh O Shea, Evie Nugent, Eva Donlon, whose global award winning Junk Kouture fashion creation #TagMe received an invitation to participate in the International Women’s Forum which celebrated 50 years of women changing the world.

There was recognition on the world stage for three students from Moate Community School, their fashion creativity having achieved the Junk Kouture World Designer of the Year award at a ceremony hosted in Monaco.

Four creative designs from local secondary school students have been chosen to compete at the Dublin City final of Junk Kouture to take place in May.
