SOME OF the world’s finest drummers are coming to Galway for the inaugural Galway Drum Show on Sunday March 10 at the Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit. The event is a day-long celebration of the art of drumming and the drumming industry and features live performances, demonstrations, exhibitors, workshops, and competitions.

Fancy a summer camp with a difference? Then this is the one for you! There’s no standing around at Rú’s drum camp which will be held in Roscommon Arts Centre from June 30-July 4. As this summer camp, children will be too busy learning to play the drums and a selection of other percussion instruments. They will also get to build ther own instrument, as well as enjoying one-on-one drum kit lessons.

The Drum Youth Centre, Kilkenny’s dedicated youth space, has issued an invitation to the public to attend an event to celebrate the official opening of the centre to young people on Saturday May 8 from 3pm to 5pm.
