On Wednesday May 26, Bank of Ireland Ballina will host a business breakfast on the theme of franchising with Enda Folan, master franchisor for Computer Trouble Shooters in Ireland whose presentation will focus on ‘Franchising your business’. Mr Folan started the Ireland operation in 2003 and is based in Bearna, Galway. The business is a network of professional associates who provide a wide range of computer support services to small business owners and to home based computer users throughout the country. The event takes place in branch at 7.45am.

A man who drove into the city after consuming alcohol was disqualified from driving for two years at a recent sitting of Kilkenny District Court.
