Continuing its drive to support the small and medium business sector, Bank of Ireland is hosting two business breakfasts in Mayo this week as part of National Enterprise Week. On Wednesday May 26, Bank of Ireland Ballina will host a business breakfast on the theme of franchising with Enda Folan, master franchisor for Computer Trouble Shooters in Ireland whose presentation will focus on ‘Franchising your business’. Mr Folan started the Ireland operation in 2003 and is based in Bearna, Galway. The business is a network of professional associates who provide a wide range of computer support services to small business owners and to home based computer users throughout the country. The event takes place in branch at 7.45am.
In Castlebar a business breakfast will take place at the Harlequin Hotel on Thursday May 27, also at 7.45am. Entitled ‘Opportunities for SMEs in a turbulent market’, guest speakers include Denis Bergin, head of retail intermediary, Bank of Ireland, and Robert Grealis, regional director of the bank’s independent mentoring service, Enterprise Builder, who will discuss conducting business in the current environment. There will be an opportunity for businesses to network after the event.

Westport: Glenans Irish Sailing Club and Pick a Pot & Paint.
