The finest amateur drama talent in the country will head to Claregalway from tonight (Thursday) March 14 when the Claregalway Drama Festival gets under way at the local leisure centre.

The 43rd Claremorris Drama Festival will take place from March 8 to 18, 2013, with An Taoiseach Enda Kenny performing the official opening on Friday, March 8. Tickets for each show are prices at €13 for adults, €9 for OAPs and students, €5 for children and a limited number of season tickets are available for €75.

Prosperous Dramatic Society will have the honour of opening the 60th RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival when the curtain rises at the Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone on Thursday May 3.
