James Kilbane returns to the TF Royal Theatre on Friday night, May 11 when he brings his Gravel and Grace country concert to Mayo’s premier venue at 8pm. This concert is in association with Western Care. Special guests on the night will include Ballinrobe singer, Jenny Mulvey from the summer show Legend of Grainne Mhaol, Glor Tire winner Eunice Moran from Ballaghaderreen, as well as upcoming country singer and Conor Duffy.

TWO local martial arts fighters made a powerful impact on spectators at the Rumble in Rush 3 tournament in Dublin recently. The relatively new sport features bouts between fighters from a variety of martial arts backgrounds. The athletes square off in an octagonal shaped ring enclosed in a wire mesh cage. Contests only end via knock out, submission, or judges’ decision.
