Monroe’s Live will host a weekend of music from tomorrow, Friday, May 16, to Sunday, May 18, with performances from Irish and international artists rooted in folk, traditional, and contemporary styles.

Breton folk and traditional musicians Ampouailh and Charlie Le Brun will play Monroe’s Live in May as part of Brittany Fest Galway 2025.

A half-century of friendship, music, cultural exchange, and Celtic connections will be joyfully celebrated this May as the Galway-Lorient Town Twinning marks its Golden Anniversary.

The Ampouailh quintet features Simon Lotout (bombardes) Yuna Léon (violins), Rémi Bouguennec (flute), Heikki Bourgault (guitar), and Gwylan Meneghin on bass. They will play with the famed singer, composer, and flautist Charlie Le Brun.
