Excitement grows as Pope’s visit to Knock is confirmed

Dear readers, we have such a glut of high news this last week. First up, of course, is the visit of the Pope to Ireland at the end of August. I never thought I would be excited about it but hearing about the details of the itinerary I can just imagine the wonderful furore that will be created when he arrives amongst us.

We saunter back to reality after the warmth of the holidays

We have finally jumped from 2017 to 2018 and even though I am compiling this on January 4, it seems as if half the country has not yet gone back to work. The Non Prophet Festival closes this weekend

Claremorris will be alive with activity this weekend when the Non Prophet Festival winds down with two hectic days of events. On tomorrow, Saturday, September 26 from 12 noon to 5pm, a theatre workshop which will serve as an introduction to theatre, drama, and stage acting.
