A new event in the Athlone calendar is set to take place later this year - The Far Side Festival. Described as a boutique festival celebrating culture, creativity, and community in Athlone, it takes its name from the well-known local term for the Connacht side of the town.

Dr Hensley continues to be a constant presence in the office, but now works full time in the practice of vibrational and metaphysical healing, encompassing the mind, body, and spirit, and is preparing to publish her fifth book with Book Hub Publishing. Office manager Maureen Duffly remains as the cornerstone of the facility since its inception, working over two decades in the field of chiropractic care.

On Sunday August 5 the second annual Inishbofin Loop Walks will take place in aid of Cancer Care West. Walkers, runners and joggers of all abilities are welcome to participate in either the 8km or 16km trek of the island. Sponsorship cards are provided to each entrant to help fundraise for the event.
