Fourteen years ago this week, Dr Mary Helen Hensley relocated from America to serve the people of Athlone with the life-changing benefits of chiropractic care. Now, 14 years on, Dr Hensley has handed over the reins of spinal care to Dr Meggan Gregory of Australia, who also celebrates this week with one year as a valued member of the Athlone Chiropractic Care team. Dr Hensley continues to be a constant presence in the office, but now works full time in the practice of vibrational and metaphysical healing, encompassing the mind, body, and spirit, and is preparing to publish her fifth book with Book Hub Publishing. Office manager Maureen Duffly remains as the cornerstone of the facility since its inception, working over two decades in the field of chiropractic care.
With full-time sports massage therapist Daryl Belmour, and the recent addition of metaphysical and reiki healer Brenda Burke, the facility offers an array of healing disciplines to meet the changing needs of the Athlone community.
Recognising that no individual is simply his or her physical symptoms or ailments, the mission of Athlone Chiropractic Care is to align the body and the mind in such a way that anyone can maximise his or her potential for health and vitality in such a way that honours the entire life experience.
