A new home in the country

image preview

There are great deals to be enjoyed for buyers at the present time, including this new detached four bedroom bungalow available through Smith auctioneers. This home offers more than meets the eye. The accommodation has been laid out with some thought; this can be seen with the wide, inviting, hallway which has been designed to allow a full staircase up into the first floor attic level that is ready for immediate conversion. The hard work has already been done in the attic with three Velux windows already in place. This is a huge bonus and the attic offers the potential of a further 88.5sq m (952sq ft), an area as big as some townhouses. This additional potential space would be ideal to create further bedrooms, an area to work from home, or as a games room suitable for the typically busy family.

O’Donnellan & Joyce launches auction season to packed house

They came from far and near to the Victoria Hotel last Friday where O’Donnellan & Joyce held its first spring auction after the winter recess. In a sense it was like the good old times of packed auction rooms, the only difference being that the prices achieved were somewhat lower than of old. However the owners of all three properties had set the advised minimum values very realistically which goes to prove that if the price is right the property will sell. In these times of doom and gloom there was a real air of euphoria in the room, and the final hammer came down on two of the three properties that were sold at the auction to applause from the packed room.
