IRISH JAZZ musicians, channelling the sounds of Cuba and American hip hop, the ideas of Albert Camus, and others possessing voices that can croon with the best, are all coming to the 2018 Galway Jazz Festival.

It is fitting that 2018 is the 300 year (Tercentenary) celebration of the birth of Nano Nagle, the founder of the Presentation Sisters. The Presentation Sisters are to be thanked for their pioneering work in establishing and cultivating a centre of excellence in education that the town of Athenry has benefited from.
