Freebooters Schoolboys added the under 14 MacDonagh Junction League Division 1 title to their u13 Kilkenny People Division 2 title with a great win over city rivals Evergreen in the Fairgreen. The only goal of the game came from Andrew Wall after he got on the end of a Dean Cornally free kick midway through the first half.

The Freebooters u11 team continued their good form with a 4-0 victory over Clover Utd at the weekend. However, they had to work hard for the three points against a well organised and determined Rathdowney side.
