Ballina Motor Care is a family owned and run business. It was established in 1993 with a small premises on Raheen Row, Ballina, with just two employees. Since then, business has gone from strength to strength and in 2003 Ballina Motor Care moved to a new premises three times the size of the original premises with a sales team of eight people.
Then in 2012 a major redevelopment took place and after nine months of construction a new state of the art 10,000sq ft retail centre and store was unveiled. This aggressive expansion allows Ballina Motor Care to carry the largest amount of car accessory and service parts in Connacht, thus making it one of the largest retail car parts shops in the west.

The Coyne family first started in the tyre business in Kilkelly in 1947 when John Coyne opened his garage. His son Pat Coyne snr went on from there to work for Fit Kilkenny Remould as a representative on the road selling tyres to the same garages.
