According to a recent survey by probiotic experts Yakult, the majority of Irish people are not listening to their heads or their hearts but are going with their gut. Yakult, maker of the easy to take, daily probiotic, found that of those surveyed, 80 per cent said they trusted their gut instinct over information and facts when it came to making key decisions in their life. This advice comes to parents and guardians from the Health Service Executive, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, and the Department of Health and Children.

Ryanair has launched two new routes to the sun drenched and hugely popular Canary Islands, with another service to the popular islands due to come on stream in April. The airline now offers flights to Tenerife and Gran Canaria, and will add Lanzarote to its ex Knock destinations on April 6. All three routes will operate on a year-round basis.
