Mayo will look to wrap up a semi-final spot in division one of the Ladies Football National Football League on Sunday when they welcome Monaghan to the Amenity Park in Swinford.
Peter Leahy's side currently sit in third place in the table with three wins, two losses, and a draw to their name. Their most recent victory came last weekend when they saw off the challenge of Ulster champions Donegal in a high scoring encounter on a scoreline of 5-14 to 4-12 in Swinford.
Those three points sees Mayo sit on 12 points in the table, three behind the top two of Cork and Dublin, with Donegal and Galway chasing them on 10 points each ahead of the final round of league fixtures this weekend.
Mayo had eight different scorers with five different players hitting the net for them last weekend, Fiona Doherty and Sara Rowe hit 1-2 each, while Niamh Kelly chipped in with 1-1, and Sarah Cafferkey and Fiona McHale also raised the green flag, while Grace Kelly bagged 0-5 for herself in the victory, and Aileen Gilroy landed two options from play, with Doireann Hughes and Shauna Howley bagging a point each.
Mayo's opponents are coming into this one on the back of a big loss at home to Dublin, with the All Ireland champions seeing them off on a score of 5-15 to 0-11 in Clones.
